Eventing:

Dressage:

Irish Murphy won his first dressage test with a score of 62.10%, and came 3rd in the second test at his very first competition.  He was cool, calm and collected! Nothing phased him. We couldn't be happier with this lovely young horse.

Murphy has since scored 72% to come 2nd and 68.33% to come 3rd in his last two preliminary tests.

Rodeo Romeo

Chestnut Overo gelding by Little G White Warrior out of Diamond Ice xx (Biscay). DOB: 05-Apr-2007

Registered both Paint Horse Association of Australia and Pinto Horse & Pony Association

Romeo is a gorgeous young horse with lovely movement, and a quiet, trainable nature, and is very well grown for his age.

We will be campaigning Rodeo Romeo in Led In Classes on the Qld Show circuit this year, and under saddle late next year.

August 2008 - Qld State Pinto Championships - Romeo WON his 2yo Colt Class and went on to win Champion Pinto Colt. He placed in almost every open class that we entered including 3rd 2yo Futurity, 5th Best Marked and 4th Best Bred to Type.  Not bad for his second show, and especially as there was HUGE numbers in the classes.

March 2009 - Romeo places in every one of the 9 classes entered at Colourama 2009 including Reserve Champion Pinto Gelding, 1st in Paint gelding class and 4th in the All breeds futurity!!

March 2009 - Rodeo Romeo gains Champion Pinto Gelding and Champion Paint Horse Gelding at Toowoomba Royal 2009. He placed 3rd in Best Marked Pinto and 6th in Best Presented.

We will be campaigning Rodeo Romeo in Led In Classes on the Qld Show circuit this year, and under saddle.

We will now be preparing Romeo for some more of the local shows, as well as some eventing competitions and schools.

Romeo is progressing well under saddle and we couldn't be happier with his progress.  He's so quiet and willing, and a lovely balanced horse to ride, and is showing promise over fences.

Flash 'n' Glamour

2007, 16hh, Chocolate Palomino Warmblood gelding

Flash is "flash" - with four white socks and big star! He has the most unflappable nature that you just don't come across very often.

Flash is out of Gypsy Bride by the super cute and versatile Hanoverian, Falsterbo (Fidermark / Brentano II) via imported frozen semen from Germany.

Falsterbo took home a ribbon from his very first Grand Prix test under Jonny Hilberath. In the 2006 and 2007 seasons he had won advanced (S) to Inter I dressage classes and also placed in the Burg Pokal. With placings in elementary (L) level show jumping, Falsterbo obviously has a double talent and his offspring are successful in dressage rings as well as on courses. In 2008 two further Falsterbo sons were licensed in Verden, both from the famous family of the Lemon xx daughter Larina and one of them had been the winner of the Foal Championships in Elmloh in 2006. Fitzgeraldos from Falsterbo's first crop was licensed in 2005. Three Falsterbo daughters received a State Premium at the Broodmare Show in Elmlohe in 2008. St.Pr.St. Fiene (breeder: Ernst Schulz, Predöhlsau) also placed at the Louis-Wiegels Show in Sandbostel. At the 127th Fritzlar Horse Market, a Falsterbo daughter named Fleury was the overall winner.

Flash is a gorgeous natured and is showing very "flash" movement. Flash is going well under saddle, and is currently in training with Davidson Equestrian.  I'm very happy with his progress and will be coming home soon to venture out to some local competitions.

Fancy is going well under saddle.  I'm hoping to campaign her as a small hack in 2012, if we don't put her in foal!!

Jai-Cee Lodge Just James

2003, 12hh, black, Dartmoor Pony gelding

Sire: Skye Mist Banjos Ballad - Dam: Goulburn River Flow

In 2009, Jimmy won champion Dartmoor Gelding at the APSB show at Caboolture. Also winning 1st in Novice Purebred pony against other breeds.  At the Dartmoor Breed show held at Boonah. After winning many firsts in the ridden classes for the day he was awarded Supreme Ridden Dartmoor Pony. He has also won and placed at other local shows.

Jimmy is a lovely pony to ride and has a great jump on him. He's mainly used as a led line pony, but as well as being good for the real learners still on the led - he's a lovely pony to ride for riders with a bit more riding experience as well being forward moving, naturally working in a nice frame and can really carry himself well.

We look forward to showing Jimmy in the comig show season.

Paint Horse Journal

Little Big Hawk

1997 Chestnut Overo Paint Horse Gelding by Karalinga K-Notes (dec.) out of a Diamondee Duco mare.  15.2¾ hh.  Registered EFA:  Little Big Hawk\Registered PHAA:  Karalinga Karaoke.  "Hawk" is 5/8 thoroughbred, and has a superb length of rein, and flamboyant movement, not to mention excellent jumping ability.  He's rarely unplaced in any discipline.

This super versatile horse excels in dressage, eventing, showjumping, halter, and more recently working hunter hack, bridlepath hack and show hunter classes where he's been winning and placing in open company.  His recent achievements for this current season include: 1st & 2nd placings  - Hunter under Saddle, 1st & 2nd placings - Bridlepath Hack, 2 x 1st placings and 2 x Reserve Champion Paint Horse Gelding - Halter, 2nd place Show Hunter under Saddle, 3rd place Show Hunter in Hand, 2 x 1st & 2 x 4th placings Novice Dressage, 2nd, 3rd & 4th placings in Elementary Dressage, 4th place - Pre Novice Eventing, 1st place - Ridden Paint Horse, 2nd place - Working Show Hunter.

In 2006, we placed 1st in Working Hunter Hack over 15hh n.e. 16hh, and Reserve Champion Working Hunter Hack at the Toowoomba Royal Show in open company!  We placed again in 2007 coming 2nd in a huge class! Hawk then went onto win the Working Hunter Hack over 15hh n.e. 16hh, and received Reserve Champion Working Hunter at the 2008 Toowoomba Royal Show!

Not to mention the 2 x 2nd places he got in the 2008 Warwick Show in the Show Hunters and Working Hunters - both classes were in open company - not bad for a little paint horse that's had 12 months off.

Hawk has finally recovered from his suspensory injury.  Due to this injury we have decided to retire him from eventing, and concentrate on the dressage.  He has recommenced his dressage training, and it's like he never had a day off.  We are hoping to compete Elementary/Medium this year and start training more of the advanced movements.

"Mother Hawk" has been featured in a story published in the Feb/Mar 2008, Paint Horse Journal, Pg 27 regarding his good nature in adopting our orphan foal, Fancy.  You can access the story online from www.painthorse.com.au

Hawk as been retired from competition and is now having a great time trail riding with my mum :)
