28-Mar-2009	Two Champions for first Royal Show - Rodeo Romeo gains Champion Pinto Gelding and Champion Paint Horse Gelding at Toowoomba Royal 2009. He also placed 3rd in Best Marked Pinto and 6th in Best Presented Pinto.

25-Mar-2009	At his first show for the season Irish Murphy gains Champion Irish Draught / Sporthorse Gelding and placed 1st in the Irish Draught/Irish Sporthorse Gelding over 3yos class at Toowoomba Royal 2009. Next year we'll be better organised and go in the ridden section as well.

08-Mar-2009	Rodeo Romeo places in every one of the 9 classes entered at Colourama 2009 including 1st in Paint gelding class and 4th in the All breeds futurity!!

13-Jan-2009	After coming back into work, and effortlessly training many of the Advanced dressage movements including canter half-pass, canter pirouettes, and flying changes. Disaster! Hawk has badly injured his sesamoid, and only in the paddock!! So we are again out of action due to injury.

31-Aug-2008	Irish Murphy won his first dressage test with a score of 62.10%, and came 3rd in the second test at his very first competition held on 31 August 2008. He was cool, calm and collected! Nothing phased him. We couldn't be happier with this lovely young horse.

09-Aug-2008	Qld State Pinto Championships - Rodeo Romeo WON his 2yo Colt Class and went on to win Champion Pinto Colt. He placed in almost every open class that we entered including 3rd 2yo Fututiry, 5th Best Marked and 4th Best Bred to Type. Not bad for his second show, and especially as there was HUGE numbers in the classes. Photos go to our Competition Horses page.

03-Aug-2008	Rodeo Romeo achieves Champion Paint Colt at his first show!! We are very proud of him!

10-Apr-2008	Hawk does it again...after almost 18 months off (he only came in for a week last March to place in the same class at Toowoomba Royal) in the paddock he's won the Working Hunter Hack over 15hh n.e. 16hh, and Reserve Champion Working Hunter Hack at the Toowoomba Royal Show. This old boy just gets better with age.

02-Apr-2008	We purchased a lovely young paint horse colt, Rodeo Romeo to join our team at Splash of Colour Sport Horses.

01-Mar-2008	Hawk is back in work...we are very excited as he's happy than ever to work and the vets have given us a lot of hope that everything is going to be ok for now. He will be back out competing very soon - Toowoomba Royal will be our first outing.

01-Feb-2008	"Mother Hawk" has been featured in a story published in the Feb/Mar 2008, Paint Horse Journal, Pg 27 regarding his good nature in adopting our orphan foal, Fancy. You can access the story online - Paint Horse Journal

15-Dec-2007	We unfortunately lost our lovely broodmare, Kaya to colic. We gave her every chance, but she didn't recover well from the colic surgery. Rest in Peace Kaya!! You will be forever in our hearts...

22-Mar-2007	Hawk comes 2nd in the Working Hunter Hack over 15hh n.e. 16hh at the Toowoomba Royal Show in a HUGE class in open company. Not bad for a paint horse that's had 6 months off and was just pulled out of the paddock purely for this class

30-Mar-2006	Hawk placed 1st in Working Hunter Hack over 15hh n.e. 16hh, and Reserve Champion Working Hunter Hack at the Toowoomba Royal Show in open company!
